| 十二月的第一天，是小四至小六停課前最後一天實體課。十二月二日開始，全校都進行網上教學，有了之前的經驗，網課的安排十分順利。 |

The first day of December was the final day of face-to-face lessons for P.4-P.6 before class suspension. The next day, the whole school had online lessons. Due to previous experience, our online classes went very smoothly. | ||||||||||
十二月五日（星期五），我們舉行了一場別開生面的家長日。以往的家長日，家長會在這天到校與班主任面談及取回子女的成績表。今年，由於疫情關係，學校利用Teams的系統，與家長單獨面談，令家長了解子女在學校的表現情況。 | ||||||||||
On 5th December (Friday), we had a Parents’ Day as never before. Previously, Parents’ Day would take place face-to-face at school. Parents would have come to collect their children’s results. This year, due to the epidemic, our school used Teams to speak with parents individually. We really can know what is happening in the world without leaving home.

在學校宣傳方面，今年不能如往年一樣在學校舉辦幼稚園課程，但學校仍安排外籍老師為幼稚園學生舉辦「小一英語銜接」課程，活動已於十二月十一日完成，家長的反應正面，不單在問卷上給予正面的評語，更有家長以短訊的形式回覆，內容是讚賞任教的外籍老師教學專業，相關活動能提升學生對學習英語興趣。 | ||||||||||
Our NETs taught English classes for kindergarten students, which were completed on 11th December. Not only did parents give positive feedback on feedback questionnaires, they also praised the professionalism of our NETs via text messages, and mentioned that the activities enhanced students’ interest in learning English.

在聖誕期間，學校會寄出或收到一些聖誕咭。今年收到一位家長的聖誕咭，一打開也嚇了一跳，全張咭也被寫得密密麻麻。她想表達小朋友在入讀「劉德容」前後的比較，她慶幸自己子女在劉德容有着老師的關愛成長，真的為我們打了一支強心針。我們會繼續努力，不會辜負大家對我們的期望。 | ||||||||||
During Christmas, our school sent out and received some Christmas cards. This year, we received a Christmas card from a parent which was shocking! The whole card was filled with writing. She expressed the positive differences she could see in her child since studying at LTY. She expressed how glad she was that her child has grown and surrounded by caring teachers. This was really encouraging for us to hear! We will continue to do our best, and we will live up to everyone’s expectations!

我好明白在聖誕及新年假期，大家也希望可以普天同慶，開心與朋友及家人相聚，分享喜悅。由於疫情仍未受控，更有上升趨勢。我們一定要注意個人衛生、增強抵抗力、多休息及減少出外，我們一定能夠戰勝疫情。大家要努力！每年聖誕節放假前一天，學校也會舉行聖誕派對，邀請一些幼稚園師生一起到「劉德容」慶祝，可惜今年難以實踐。因此我們分別為同學及老師舉行了一個不一樣的聖誕派對！同學可以點唱聖誕歌曲給老師、家人、同學，也有大抽獎和遊戲。另外老師也舉行了抽獎活動，特別多謝老師在疫情期間辛勤工作，運用新的教學模式教學。 | ||||||||||
I fully understand that everyone wants to celebrate and gather with family and friends during Christmas and New Year holidays and share our joy. However, due to the epidemic not yet being under control and the number of cases has even been increasing, we must pay attention to personal hygiene and go out less. Hong Kong and other countries in the world are like a person who is ill: we need to eat more vegetables and rest more in order to recover. Let’s listen to what the doctor tells us to do! Otherwise, we would need an even longer period of time to get better. Let’s all do our best! The last day of school before Christmas holiday every year, our school would host a Christmas party. We would invite kindergarten teachers and students to celebrate at LTY. It's a shame we couldn't do it this year. That's why we had a special Christmas party for students and teachers instead! Students could select Christmas songs for teachers, family and classmates, as well as a lucky draw and fun games. In addition, teachers also had a lucky draw to thank them for their hard work and using new teaching methods to teach during the epidemic period.
